Rolling Silver Plating Equipment
Rolling silver plating equipment is designed for continuous or automated silver plating of suitable metal components and conductive materials. The rolling process allows workpieces to move continuously through the required pretreatment, silver plating, rinsing and post-treatment stages, depending on the product configuration and production requirements.
Compared with conventional batch plating methods, a rolling-type plating system can be configured for continuous material handling and stable process control. The equipment is suitable for applications where consistent silver coating, electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance and high-volume production are required.

Silver Plating Process Flow

Main Equipment Features

Automatic Process Control: All plating and treatment stages are automatically completed according to the preset program, while loading and unloading are performed manually.

Flexible Gantry Transfer: The number of gantry transporters can be configured according to production capacity. Each transporter supports vertical lifting and horizontal movement with adjustable high- and low-speed operation.

Simple Recipe-Based Operation: The operator only needs to select or enter the product code. The IPC automatically retrieves the corresponding process recipe and sends the required commands to the PLC.

Accurate Positioning: Absolute-position control enables precise transporter movement. Each process tank is individually identified to ensure reliable positioning and prevent incorrect travel.

Comprehensive Safety Protection: Collision-avoidance devices, rail-end anti-fall and power-off protection, and emergency brake safety ropes are installed to improve operational safety.
Operating Procedure
The operator first moves the barrel trolley to the loading station and enters the product code through the barrel ID, IC card, or computer interface. After “Load Ready" is activated, the IPC retrieves the corresponding process recipe and instructs the PLC to start the automatic cycle.
The gantry transporter then picks up the barrel and transfers it through each treatment and plating stage according to the programmed sequence. Once the cycle is completed, the barrel is returned to the trolley at the unloading station. An audible signal alerts the operator to remove the finished products and confirm “Unload Ready."
Throughout the process, key production parameters—including bath temperature, processing time, current, and other operating data—are transmitted to and recorded by the IPC. The records can be monitored, stored, reviewed, and printed for process traceability and production management.
